Gospel Meet: 2012 - Second day - 25th March

Second day Gospel meeting began with the opening prayer by Rev. Milanchton Rajaregam of CSI William Charles Memorial Church,Broadway. After the opening song Mr.Edvin Rajamanickam, Secretary of CSI William Charles Memorial Church read the Bible portion (St.John 21:1-12). Mr. Samuel Baskaran, Treasurer,CSI Wesley Tamil Church, Broadway proposed vote of thanks. Mrs.Christina Arulnadhan, Headmistress, CSI Bishop Corries Hr.Sec.School where the Gospel meeting held was honored and Rev.T.D.Albert the choir conductor was also honored who took much initiative to train the combined choir.

Dr.John Solomon delivered the God's message and many were happy about the way of the presentation. Many came forward to be prayed by Bro.John Solomon. Rev.N.Manova Santhosham, Presbyter of CSI Christ Church, Washermenpet did the closing prayer and Rev.Gidian, presbyter, St.Mark church pronounced the benediction.

Gospel Meeting : 2012

CSI Churches in North Chennai have unitedly organized a Lenten Gospel meeting on 24th and 25th March,2012 at CSI Bishop corrie Higher Secondary School, George Town, Chennai.

Dr. JOHN SOLOMON is the speaker on both these days. The meeting begins at 6:00pm on Saturday. CSI Churches namely Christ church, Washermenpet along with Tucker church, Wesley Tamil Church, William Charles Memorial Church and St.Marks Church in Broadway have come forward to conduct this Lenten Gospel meeting. A combined choir of these churches is also formed under the guidance of Rev.T.D.Albert.

Lenten 40 days Daily Meditation : 2012

Daily meditation at 6:00 am is conducted at our church on the theme “Theologians of the reign of God" wherein 40 men and women who understood the meaning of the reign of God and committed to it were chosen for the reflection. The mission of Jesus was centered on proclaiming the call of the arrival of the reign of God and hence he insisted the need for the repentance of all those who happened to hear his words. So this period of lent will be usefully spent on understanding the role of these 40 men and women of God who dedicated their life in propagating the reign of God. Rev.N.Manova Santhosham, the presbyter in charge will conduct all the 40 days mediation where a special prayer, singing will also is there in the 30 minutes mediation.
